The Raritan Township Fire Company in partnership with Hunterdon Health will be hosting our 12th annual 9/11 Stair Climb to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice September 11, 2001.
The challenge of the event is to climb the equivalent number of stairs FDNY firefighters climbed in the World Trade Center prior to the collapses. This is not a race. It is highly suggested that you be physically up to the task as we begin our dedication to their sacrifice in full turnout gear. The climb takes approximately 1.5 hours. Drinks and light snacks will be provided during the climb and lunch will be served at the conclusion of the stair climb. This event is open to all 1st responders and the general public.
There will be t-shirts issued to the first few hundred signups, and there is a maximum of 343 participants. Signups must be completed online prior to the event. All proceeds will be donated to the FEALGood Foundation to support those battling illnesses systemic from working 'the Pile.' Information about the FEALGood Foundation can be found by visiting http:// fealgoodfoundation.com/
We look forward to climbing with you!
